Baldo!

Eccolo!

I made this beanie at camping, on a hot summer afternoon. The day before I was on mount Baldo, with a panoramic cabelway carrying people from Malcesine, on Garda lake, to the peak of the mount (1760 meters!). Up there green fields, fresh air, a lot of people walking, and ...a bunch of alpacas!? A little shop offered trekking tours with these lovely animals and (happiness) alpaca yarn.
I discovered it is a local yarn but it's not as pure as I actually like: it contains 10% polyamid, and I'd never bought such a yarn in a different circumstances. But it's knitter's souvenir, you know... Back at camping I immediately thought about a new hat to remember the day.
Here it is.
